The Punjab educational boards have introduced a new marking policy for the practical exams conducted after the Intermediate Part-II annual examinations.

As per the new policy announced, there will be a centralised checking for the written part of the practical exam.

The policy will be implemented at the practical exams of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science, and Statistics.

Under the new system, practical examiners will no longer check written practical answer sheets at examination centres.

Instead, these papers will be marked centrally by the examination board, using the same system as theory papers.

Students will still be assessed at the practical examination centres based on their laboratory work, practical notebooks and viva voce (oral examination).

They will therefore need to prepare for all parts of the practical exam, including written answers, lab work, notebooks and oral questions.

The annual practical examinations of BISE Lahore Inter Part-II will commence on July 10, 2026.

The new policy, as mentioned, will be followed in the checking process.
