The official anthem for the upcoming Pakistan Super League Season 11 has been released, building excitement among cricket fans ahead of the tournament.
According to details, the anthem features the powerful vocals of renowned singers Atif Aslam, Aima Baig, and the Sabri Sisters. The theme of this year’s anthem is “Bat Pe Khelenge,” highlighting the spirit of competitive cricket and fan enthusiasm.
This will be the second time that Atif Aslam has sung a PSL anthem. He has previously appeared in the seventh season track Agay Dekh where he worked with Aima Baig.
PSL 11 will take place from March 26th to May 3rd for 39 days. This season debuts with eight teams, with two new franchises: Pindiz and Hyderabad Houston Kingsmen.
A total of 44 matches will be played, with each team playing 10 games in the group stage. The top four sides will enter the playoffs – up to the grand final.
Defending champions Lahore Qalandars will start off the tournament against Hyderabad Houston Kingsmen at home on March 26.
Earlier, Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman Mohsin Naqvi on 22, March, 2026, said that the Pakistan Super League (PSL) matches in the coming weeks will be played behind closed doors due to austerity measures adopted by the government over the ongoing regional situation.
Speaking at a press conference in Lahore, Naqvi said the tournament will only be held in two venues, Karachi and Lahore, adding that the move is to curtail the movement of the public and ensure smoother management during this period.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced some major changes in this year’s Pakistan Super League (PSL), such as cancellation of the opening ceremony.
The move is part of a broader cost-cutting strategy under the government’s austerity policies.
Under the revised plan, all the PSL matches would now be played only at Lahore and Karachi.
