The 2026 Pakistan Super League (PSL 11) Transfer Window has officially opened and will be active until Wednesday, March 18, which gives franchises a great opportunity to make player moves under the league’s transfer rules and the salary cap framework.

During the window, teams can make transfers in three categories. The first is Player for Player where two franchises simply interchange players.
The second is Player for Money where a franchise can acquire a player by paying an agreed transfer fee from its remaining salary purse.
The third option is Player for Player and Money where both teams exchange players with an extra money aspect added to the deal.
The league has made it clear that any transfer should not exceed the team’s salary cap, which means, franchises are not allowed to spend more than their given financial limit, in order to keep balance in competition throughout the tournament.
No transfer shall be considered as official until it gets the green light from Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) as per the regulations of PSL 11.
The trophy for PSL 11 has also been revealed.

In a separate development Multan Sultans has been given special allowances in view of the circumstances under which the franchise was acquired.
With the agreement of other PSL teams and the approval of the PCB, the Sultans are given an increase in their salary cap of Rs1.2 crores and have been given sanction to make two additional signings.
As a result, Multan’s maximum squad size has been increased to 22 players, though as the franchise still follows the standard rules of the league, they can only name a 20 player match day squad, the same limit is carried by all other teams.
The Sultans have already started to strengthen their squad ahead of the new season by signing two promising fast bowlers, Muhammad Ismail and Arshad Iqbal.
It remains to be seen which two more players Multan Sultans will bring in as they look to build a competitive squad for PSL 11.
PSL 11 with eight teams will be played in six venues from 26 March to 3 May.
