The match officials for the HBL PSL Qualifier and both Eliminators has been announced by the Pakistan Cricket Board.
Sir Ritchee Richardson an elite match referee from ICC Elite Panel will be serving as the match referee in the Qualifier between Peshawar Zalmi and Islamabad United. The qualifier will player played on April 28.
In the Qualifier Chris Gaffaney of New Zealand and Alex Wharf of England will be the on-field umpires. They are also a part of the ICC International Elite Panel of Umpires.
The duties of fourth and third umpires in the Qualifier will be performed by umpire Zulifiqar Jan (Fourth Umpire) who is a member of PCB National Elite Panel and umpire Faisal Khan Afridi (Third Umpire) who is a member of ICC International Panel.
In both of the eliminators the duties of the match referee will be performed by the Sri Lankan Roshan Mahanama.
Roshan Mahanama has the distinction and honour of working as a match referee in every edition of the HBL PSL.
He has been a referee in 127 matches of the Pakistan Super League.
The first eliminator will be played in Lahore between Multan Sultans and Hyderabad Kingsmen on April 29. For this match the on-field umpires will be Asif Yaqoob and Shahid Saikat. They both belong from Bangladesh.
In the first Eliminator, ICC Emerging Panel umpire Rashid Riaz will be the third umpire, while ICC International Panel umpire Nasir Hussain will be the fourth umpire.
In the second Eliminator, ICC Elite Panel umpire Ahsan Raza and Shahid Saikat will be the on-field umpires, while Asif Yaqoob will be the third umpire and Rashid Riaz will perform duties as the fourth umpire.
