NEW YORK: Pakistan’s national cricketers have arrived in New York to take part in the HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) roadshow after a successful roadshow at Lord’s Cricket Ground in London on December 7.
The players include Salman Ali Agha, Shan Masood, Faheem Ashraf, Abrar Ahmed, Saud Shakeel and Saim Ayub.
The PSL roadshow is scheduled to be held today in New York at 4:00pm, where league officials and players will engage with investors and fans as part of the tournament’s international outreach campaign.
The New York roadshow is part of the PCB’s global outreach plan. It aims to attract foreign investors ahead of the auction of two HBL PSL franchises on January 6, 2026.
Officials say the move highlights the league’s strong commercial value, global fan base, and long-term growth.
Six Pakistan men’s team players will attend the event. T20I captain Salman Ali Agha will lead the group. The other players are Shan Masood, Saud Shakeel, Faheem Ashraf, Saim Ayub, and Abrar Ahmed.
Former Test captain Wasim Akram will also join the event. Former PCB chairman Ramiz Raja, PSL CEO Salman Naseer, and singer Ali Zafar are already in the city to represent Pakistan cricket.
The New York event follows a high-profile showcase at Lord’s. That gathering featured PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi, Ramiz Raja, Wasim Akram, and Salman Naseer. Another session saw Babar Azam, Haris Rauf, and Sahibzada Farhan engage fans and share their vision for Pakistan cricket.
