Khan’s led PTI govt toppled under ‘London plan’: CM Afridi

The Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Muhammad Sohail Khan Afridi has reiterated that the then PTI government led by ex-prime minister Imran Khan had been ousted under the ‘London Plan’ and public mandate was badly stolen.

While talking to the media persons Afridi stated, ‘Imran led PTI government had removed under ‘London Plan’.

While responding a query KP CM claimed that Imran Khan has not been allowed to meet his friends for over a year and has been kept in solitary confinement.

He said PTI founder is facing imprisonment for this struggle and is currently lodged in jail, while his wife and sisters are also incarcerated.

On current justice system of the country he stated’ “Pakistan has different standards of justice for the powerful and wealthy, while ordinary citizens are deprived of basic rights.

Referring to prison rules, Afridi said even prisoners are entitled to human rights, but Imran Khan’s sisters are not being allowed to meet him.

Sohail Afridi also announced that his party will hold a rally at Jinnah Garden on Sunday for supremacy of the constitution and rule of law in the country.

He said that the main objective of the movement is to end what he described as separate laws for the powerful and the weak and to restore true democracy in the country. He said the PTI movement is not aimed at gaining power but at ensuring an independent judiciary and free media. “This struggle is not for any single political party but for the entire country,” he added.

He said Pakistan has different standards of justice for the powerful and wealthy, while ordinary citizens are deprived of basic rights.

Referring to prison rules, Afridi said even prisoners are entitled to human rights, but Imran Khan’s sisters are not being allowed to meet him.

The PTI leader said that KP is the only province governed by a government with a genuine public mandate, while, according to him, other provinces are being run by governments with “fake mandates.”

He questioned where in the constitution it is written that the chief executive of one province cannot engage in political activities in another province.
