Low turnout as PTI rally falls flat in Hazara

PTI Hazara

The KP Chief Minister, Sohail Afridi, is leading a PTI rally through the Hazara Division today. Recent, similar events by PTI saw very thin crowds; the GT road procession will make it further clear if the party has any public support left.

Currently, the Hazara rally seems like a failure; only 30 workers and 10-12 vehicles are present at the Peshawar Motorway plaza to welcome Chief Minister Sohail Afridi.

On his arrival at Haripur, fewer than 100 people were present to welcome him. This indicates that the people of Haripur have rejected PTI and its leaders.

This is similar to PTI’s previous rally in Karachi, which was also a flop show. In Karachi, only a minimum number of workers and supporters showed up.

PTI rioters even pelted stones at police officers and media persons. They consistently made the lives of Karachi residents hard. Sohail Afridi arrived late and, after delivering a short speech, left, disappointing all the followers of PTI.

Similar to the Karachi rally, the rally today at Hazara has also flopped. The party and its senior leaders failed to mobilise workers and supporters. PTI always generate social media buzz that their rally will be one of the biggest rallies ever; however, they usually flop.

Both of these rallies prove one thing: PTI has become quite unpopular with the people of Pakistan.

People of Pakistan have been repeatedly observing the priority of PTI and its leaders and have become disillusioned with them.

Chief Minister KP Sphail Afridi keeps focusing on rallies and political point scoring rather than governing his province.

KP has recently been facing both economic and political issues; however, their Cheif Minister seems to have other priorities.
