The Pubg 4.1 update is packed with features inspired by the game’s Esports scene, plus a new winter mode that changes how classic maps feel and play.
Starting November 24, players will see themed arenas tied to the PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2025.
On Erangel and Livik, an in-game version of the championship venue appears. Visit the venue’s photo spot to get a Champion Pack with high value items.
If a full squad interacts with it, the team earns the Crown of Glory, which can restore health and energy for nearby teammates.
Gameplay balance also gets an update. Rifles now have a stronger long range damage drop-off, which could shake up the meta, and combat sound effects are improved to help with awareness.
The patch also teases big collaborations coming soon: a luxury fashion house, a major car brand, and the return of a global K-pop act.
A new seasonal mode, Frosty Funland, brings a snowy overhaul to Erangel with areas like Penguinville and other winter towns.
Moreover, expect Penguin snowball launchers for fast rotations, plus ice grenades, snow bombs, and the quirky salted fish rocket launcher.
Dynamic weather with snowstorms, fog, and slippery terrain makes each match feel different.
On the Esports side, KRAFTON and Level Infinite continue to support the scene.
The championships for PUBG and PUBG Mobile are unified into one event from November 24 to December 12 in Bangkok, featuring 40 teams and a $3 million prize pool.
A new tournament application process also makes it easier for organisers to host third party events.
