PUBG Mobile 4.1 available for download

WEB DESK: Wait for PUBG fans is now over, as the PUBG Mobile 4.1 update download is now available on the Google Play Store, App Store, and other third-party app stores and websites after a much awaited wait of one year.

The update has been available in Korea and Vietnam since yesterday, but now the updates are available for the rest of the world, on both android and iOS devices, including for fans in Pakistan.

The main highlight of PUBG Mobile version 4.1 is the Frosty Funland map set on Erangel. This update turns several popular areas into a snowy battleground with two new zones — Penguinville and Penguin Towns.

Players can use Penguin Snowball Launchers for quick movement and chaotic winter fights. New weapons like Ice Grenades, Snow Bombs, and the Salted Fish Rocket Launcher add freezing effects and fresh mobility options. The update also brings snowstorms, fog, slippery terrain, and enhanced visuals, making every match feel different and more challenging.

To update PUBG Mobile from the Google Play Store:

  • Open the Google Play Store on your Android phone.
  • Search for “PUBG Mobile” and select the official version by Krafton.
  • Tap “Install” or “Update” if it’s already on your device.
  • Wait for the download and installation to complete.
  • After launching the game follow the step by step instructions to access the new features.

For iPhone users, the process is the same all they have to do is just visit the App Store and tap “Update.”

Gamers around the world can now download the update and dive into the snowy battlegrounds for a whole new PUBG Mobile experience.

In Pakistan, PUBG Mobile’s craze grew among youth during the COVID-19 lockdown, when people had more time for online games.
