Police, public, and army together in Swat

The Pakistan Army and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police conducted a joint patrol and flag rally in Swat in view of the prevailing security situation, with residents expressing strong solidarity with the country’s security forces.

Citizens carrying national flags joined army personnel and police officials to reaffirm their support for the Pakistan Army and the police. A large number of residents, including children, participated in the rally alongside security personnel.

Participants raised enthusiastic slogans of “Pakistan Zindabad” and “Pakistan Army Zindabad,” reflecting unity and support for the security forces.

During the joint patrol, convoys comprising security vehicles and motorcycles moved through major roads across the city. The activity aimed to strengthen the public’s sense of security, promote mutual trust and send a clear message to elements seeking to undermine peace and stability.

The joint initiative highlighted the unity and coordination among the public, the Pakistan Army and the police, demonstrating their shared resolve to confront security challenges and work together to ensure lasting peace and stability in Swat.

Earlier, a bomb exploded near the vehicle of Awami National Party (ANP) leader Mumtaz Ali Khan in Tehsil Matta, Swat, on Wednesday morning.

According to details, the explosion occurred near his car in the Shakardara area of Tehsil Matta.

Police said the ANP leader is safe, while his vehicle sustained minor damage.
