LAHORE: The Punjab Transport Department has reduced the fares for intercity travel. The buses that will be travelling from Lahore to multiple cities will have their fares reduced. Depending on the destination, the fares will be reduced by 60 to 200 rupees.
If you are travelling from Lahore to Islamabad, the fare has been reduced from 1910 PKR to 1850 PKR.
Anyone who used to travel from Lahore to Murree had to pay 2370 PKR; now they will have to pay 2290 PKR.
Similarly, the fare for travelling from Lahore to Peshawar has also been reduced from 2610 PKR to 2530 PKR.
Travelling to Mansehra from Lahore will now cost 2420 PKR rather than 2500 PKR.
It used to cost 2310 PKR to travel to Abbottabad, and it has been reduced to 2240 PKR.
To travel to Faisalabad, everyone will have to pay 980 PKR, which has been reduced from 1010 PKR.
The fare for Sadiqabad has been reduced to 2430 PKR from 2510 PKR.
Travelling to Karachi will now cost 5620 PKR, which has been reduced from 5800 PKR.
You can now travel from Lahore to Sukkur for 3400 PKR instead of 3510 PKR.
From Lahore to Multan, the fare has been reduced from 1700 PKR to 1650 PKR.
