The Punjab boards have released the official datesheet for the Class 10 matric annual examinations 2026, setting out subject-wise schedules for students across the province.
The matriculation exams will begin on March 27, 2026, and continue until April 16, 2026. The timetable applies to both morning and evening groups under a uniform schedule followed by all boards in Punjab.
Exam timings
According to the schedule, morning papers will start at 9:00am. Evening exams will begin at 2:00pm, except on Fridays when papers will start at 2:30pm.
Officials say students should reach their examination centres well before time and bring their roll number slips and other required documents.

Practical examinations to follow
The boards have also issued a separate schedule for practical exams. These will take place after the written papers are completed. Schools and examination centres will provide further details to students regarding timings and arrangements.

Advice for students
With the datesheet now finalised, students are being encouraged to plan their revision carefully.
Education authorities have advised candidates to follow examination rules strictly and avoid bringing prohibited items into centres.
Officials say punctuality will be strictly observed, and late arrivals may not be allowed to sit the exam.
The Class 10 examinations are a key milestone for students in Punjab, determining their progression to higher secondary education.
