The government of Punjab has announced the official gas schedule for the holy month of Ramzan in the year 2026.
Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) has unveiled a new gas supply schedule for consumers in Lahore and other parts of Punjab for the month of Ramzan.
According to the SNGPL’s post on X, under the revised plan, gas will be available daily from 3:00am to 10:30pm.
Consumers facing low gas pressure can report issues through the helpline at 1199.
SNGPL Managing Director Amir Tufail said the company will not restrict gas supply to peak cooking hours.
He added that the firm will work to ensure uninterrupted availability throughout the announced timeframe each day during Ramzan.
Sehr, Iftar timings
Ramzan 2026 has begun across Pakistan, with the first fast being observed on Thursday, February 19, 22026, corresponding to 1 Ramzan 1447 AH in the Islamic calendar. The Sehar and Iftar timings vary in Pakistan, area-wise.
Sehri and Iftar times are slightly different in each city because of location, as Muslims across the country begin the holy month.
Below are the city-wise timings for Fiqa Hanafi and Fiqa Jafaria for the first day of Ramzan.
Islamabad
In Islamabad, Sehri time is 05:25am and Iftar time is 5:56pm on February 19, 2026 (01 Ramzan 1447 AH).

Rawalpindi follows nearly the same schedule as the federal capital.

Bank timings in Pakistan
The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has announced temporary banking hours for the holy month of Ramzan to accommodate fasting employees and customers.
According to the SBP, bank office hours will run from 9:00am to 3:00pm from Monday to Thursday, and from 9:00am to 12:30pm on Fridays.
For customer transactions, banks will provide services between 9:00am and 2:00pm from Monday to Thursday. On Fridays, public dealings will continue until 12:30pm.
The central bank said the revised schedule will remain in place for the entire month of Ramzan, after which normal timings will resume.
