The Punjab Government has announced new job opportunities under its program of “Dastak”, wherein it is asking for applications for the role of Community Health Inspector (CHI) for various districts in the province.
A total of 213 vacancies are available, according to an official advertisement issued by the Primary and Secondary Healthcare Department. The programme is expected to benefit up to 50,000 households through improved healthcare outreach services.

The selected candidates will be in charge of a variety of public health activities such as support to prevention and treatment of malnourished children, growth monitoring, vaccination services, tuberculosis follow-up, mother and newborn care visits, family planning services and data collection at the household level.
The official declared that applicants must have relevant qualifications, such as Midwifery, LHV, CMW, FWW or PNC certification and be registered with the Pakistan Nursing Council. Candidates also have to complete the application process by submitting a copy of the CV, CNIC, and academic credentials.
The initiative is designed to strengthen the delivery of primary healthcare services at the community level through the utilisation of trained, female health workers who deliver basic medical awareness and preventive healthcare services.
Authorities have urged eligible candidates to write one on their own websites with the programme identifying itself as part of wider efforts to enhance healthcare access and monitoring systems throughout Punjab.
