The government of Punjab has introduced an online reporting system for lost documents by using the Punjab Police Pakistan app.

The Chief Minister (CM) of Punjab, Maryam Nawaz Sharif, has inaugurated the new app feature, enabling the complainants to file their complaints regarding their lost documents from home.

Through the mobile application of the Punjab Police, the citizens can simply file an online report of their lost items.

The Punjab Police app is providing various services like the generation of a character certificate, traffic challans, license renewal, khidmat markaz services, etc.

The documents about which a complaint can be filed are as follows:

  • Identity cards, also known as CNIC
  • Passports
  • Driving licenses
  • Other important documents of any kind

The complainant can file this report without visiting the police station or service centre.

For the convenience of the filer, the submitted report is also sent to their homes.

This facility is operational across the province of Punjab.

Punjab CM, Maryam Nawaz, stated that providing online facilities to the public is the top priority of the government.

She also added that it is her objective that the government should bring new innovation and progress to the citizens.

Maryam Nawaz, on the other hand, expressed sorrow and grief for the four dead people. who were caught in an accident on April 9, 2026, in Multan.

She also prayed for those who were injured in the accident.

Pakistan Asaan Khidmat app

The government has launched a digital app named the Pakistan Asaan Khidmat app to provide relief to the bikers facing a petrol price hike.

The government of Pakistan introduced this new digital system to provide a subsidy on fuel for bikers.

This initiative will be limited to the motorcyclists only.

The 40-day US-Iran war has caused a massive increase in the price of petrol across Pakistan.

The latest app will make sure that the bikers get a subsidy on petrol.

Here is how you can use the Pakistan Asaan Khidmat app:

  • Download the app from the Google Play Store.
  • Sign up for the account by providing your CNIC number and creating a password.
  • If you already have an account, then you can simply log in to your account.
  • After the successful login, you will be able to see an interface showing various services.
  • The services include petrol subsidy, city guides and emergency contact information, which will be available in just a single app.
  • To secure a petrol subsidy, the bikers must register themselves in the ‘Bike Verification’ section.
  • The bikers must provide their mobile phone number and a bike registration number to process the application.
  • After filling in the above credentials, the motorcyclists will also have to upload a selfie with the number plate of the bike for final verification.
