Qatar Airways has shared an urgent update on the scheduled flights as the situation remain escalated in the gulf amid Israel Iran war.

The airline confirmed that all six of its scheduled flights for Sunday landed safely in Doha, providing relief to passengers amid ongoing travel disruptions in the region.

According to information available on the website of Hamad International Airport, the flights arrived early Sunday morning between 04:00 GMT and 06:00 GMT.

Earlier, the airline had announced plans to operate limited services to Doha from several major international cities. The flights departed from London, Paris, Madrid, Rome, Frankfurt and Bangkok.

All six flights successfully arrived at Hamad International Airport as scheduled, according to airport records.

The airline continues to monitor the situation and is expected to provide further updates regarding its upcoming flight operations and schedules.

Qatar Airways starts limited operations

Qatar Airways yesterday starts limited operations from London, Frankfurt, and other cities to Doha.

In a post on X, the airline said that it will operate limited flights to the capital city.

While there is a closure of Qatari airspace, the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority has confirmed a safe operating corridor, hence, today, on March 7, flights coming from London and Frankfurt to Doha will operate.

Additionally, flights coming from Paris, Madrid, Rome, and Bangkok to Doha will also operate.

In the message for their passengers, the airline requested that “passengers are kindly asked not to arrive at their departure airport unless they hold a valid confirmed ticket for travel.”

“The safety and well-being of our passengers and crew remain our highest priority during this period of disruption. We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused by the current situation, which is beyond our control, and thank our passengers for their patience and understanding”, it added.

As Qatar Airways starts limited operations, many other airlines’ flights remain suspended due to the war launched by the US and Israel against Iran.

The airline and tourism industries are suffering as thousands of flights are being cancelled every day.

Emirates shares big update on flight operations

Earlier, Emirates issued a major update regarding its flight operations for passengers travelling to and from Pakistan.

In a social media post on its official handle, Emirates confirmed that services have now resumed after earlier disruptions.

The airline confirmed that flight operations have resumed, and passengers with confirmed bookings on afternoon flights are advised to proceed to the airport as scheduled.

This also includes travellers transiting through Dubai, provided that their connecting flights are operating.

Saudia airline latest update on flights

Saudi Arabia’s national carrier, Saudia, also announced a major update regarding flights for passengers stranded due to recent regional travel disruptions.

In a statement issued, the airline confirmed that it will partially resume flight operations to Dubai starting Saturday (today). The restored services will include both outbound and inbound flights from Riyadh and Jeddah to the emirate.

According to the airline, the flights will initially operate on a limited schedule, with plans to gradually increase services as the situation stabilises.

The announcement comes after Saudia suspended several international routes following the escalation of the Iran conflict last weekend. The affected destinations included Amman, Kuwait City, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Doha, Manama, Moscow and Peshawar.

The airline said it will continue to monitor the regional situation and update passengers regarding further restoration of its flight network.
