Russia announces special scholarships for Pakistani students
On the other hand, Russia has announced plans to expand scholarship opportunities for Pakistani students, opening new pathways to higher education, research and professional training in the country.
Russia’s Ambassador to Pakistan Albert P. Khorve has pledged to increase scholarship opportunities for Pakistani youth, with the initiative expected to support students seeking opportunities to study and gain professional experience in Russia.
Pakistani students with Russian-language skills could particularly benefit from the expanded opportunities. Previous Russian government scholarship programmes have offered Pakistani students opportunities to pursue Bachelor’s, Master’s and PhD programmes, with benefits including tuition coverage and a monthly stipend.
However, the latest announcement has not yet provided a specific application deadline or final eligibility criteria for the new scholarship opportunities.
