Multan Sultans easily defeated Quetta Gladiators by 6 wickets in the 13th match of PSL 11. The match played at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, Multan Sultans won the toss and elected to field first, inviting Quetta Gladiators to bat.
Batting first, Quetta Gladiators posted a total of 166 for the loss of 7 wickets in their allotted 20 overs. Captain Saud Shakeel led from the front with a solid 56 runs off 41 balls, while Bevan Jacobs contributed an unbeaten 49 runs to help the team reach a competitive score. Ahmed Daniyal retired injured after scoring 22 runs.
For Multan Sultans, Muhammad Nawaz bowled exceptionally well, taking 3 wickets, while Arafat Minhas claimed 2 wickets.
In response, Multan Sultans got off to an aggressive start, thanks to Sahibzada Farhan, who scored a quick 32 runs off just 14 balls. Steven Smith then played a composed innings of 53 runs off 35 balls to stabilise the chase.
Captain Shan Masood led from the front with an unbeaten 46 runs off 30 balls, guiding his team to victory, while Ashton Turner remained not out on 4 runs.
For Quetta Gladiators, Hassan Nawaz picked up 2 wickets, but the rest of the bowling attack failed to contain Multan’s batting lineup. With this win, Multan Sultans strengthened their position on the points table.

Quetta Gladiators will now look to defend their total of 166 as Multan Sultans begin the chase of 167. For Multan Sultans, Muhammad Nawaz took 3 wickets, while Arafat Minhas claimed 2 wickets.
At the toss, the Sultans’ captain said they would aim to play good cricket, while Quetta Gladiators captain Saud Shakeel mentioned that Rilee Rossouw had returned to the team.
Quetta Gladiators have won only one of their three matches so far and are currently in sixth place with two points. Multan Sultans, on the other hand, also lost their previous match against Lahore.
Overall, Multan Sultans have the upper hand over Quetta Gladiators. The two teams have faced each other 16 times in the PSL, with Multan winning 9 matches, Quetta winning 6, and 1 match ending without a result.
