A voice note shared on social media, reportedly of Rajab Butt’s mother, has brought renewed focus on the ongoing separation between Rajab Butt and Emaan Fatima.
The audio message, which emerged from a recent leak, records an appeal from Rajab’s mother in an emotional tone as she lists her terms for reconciliation and an appeal for Emaan’s return and to save her marriage.
The development comes amid an already strained situation between the couple, who separated after almost a year of their marriage.
Rajab Butt had previously affirmed the divorce and sent a legal notice to Emaan that their relationship had come to a critical point despite several attempts to mediate.
Family Appeals for Reconciliation
In the audio message Rajab’s mother stated willingness to forgive the issues and mentioned the family is still open to reconciliation if Emaan decides to return and put her home first.
She emphasised keeping the marriage intact and assured that she would personally intervene to ensure harmony in case there is further tension in relationships.
Efforts to bring the two together had also been taken by figures such as Allama Asif Raza Alvi and some close family members, but there was no breakthrough yet.

In her caption, Emaan explained that travel can be a form of healing, implying that she is attempting to deal with personal issues while keeping a maintained outer appearance.
