Following the directives of Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti, the district administration in Pishin has distributed 290 Ramadan relief packages to deserving and low-income families across various union councils.
According to official sources, these relief packages were allocated to residents of Alizai, Manzari, Ibrahimzai, Ganglzai, and Badizai union councils to assist vulnerable households during the holy month of Ramadan.
Authorities indicated that the distribution process was executed in a transparent and organised manner to ensure that aid reached genuinely deserving families.
Local officials oversaw the operation and verified beneficiaries to avert any irregularities.
Provincial govt urges authorities to continue Ramadan relief efforts
The provincial government has instructed district administrations throughout Balochistan to persist with relief efforts during Ramadan to alleviate financial burdens on underprivileged communities.
Officials also mentioned that stringent price-control measures are being implemented in local markets to shield consumers from profiteering and to guarantee the availability of essential food items at fair prices.
This relief initiative is part of the Balochistan government’s extensive efforts to assist low-income households and enhance public welfare during Ramadan, a period when the demand for essential commodities generally rises.
Authorities reiterated that similar assistance programs will continue across the province to provide maximum relief to citizens.
