Fasting hours during Ramzan 2026 are expected to vary across different Muslim countries due to geographical location and seasonal conditions.
In the early days of the holy month, fasting duration is likely to be around 12 hours, while it may extend to nearly 13 hours towards the end of Ramzan.
In Pakistan
According to a private TV channel, the fasting duration in Pakistan during Ramzan is expected to range between 13 and 13.5 hours.
Experts say slight variations in fasting start and end times may occur due to changes in day length and weather conditions.
Gulf countries
In Gulf countries, fasting hours are also expected to remain moderate.
In Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait, and other Gulf states, fasting is likely to last between 12 and 13 hours.
It is expected to provide relatively manageable conditions for worshippers.
European countries
The situation will be different in European countries. Muslims in the United Kingdom, Germany, and other parts of Europe are expected to observe longer fasts due to higher latitudes, where daylight hours are longer.
During this period, the gap between sunrise and sunset will be much wider, which could extend fasting hours by several hours.
These differences in fasting duration across the Muslim world will be significant for worship routines and health considerations for those observing fasts during Ramzan.
