Ramzan 2026 working hours

The Government of Pakistan has issued revised working hours of passport offices nationwide during the holy month of Ramzan and has also announced the passport fee information.

The new schedule will apply to the Regional Passport Offices (RPOs), Executive Passport Office, and Passport Processing Counters.

Ramzan Office Timings

According to the official notification, the timings observed from Monday to Thursday are as follows, the token issuance and public services hours will be observed between 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. However, overall office working hours are going to be looked after from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.

On Fridays, 9-00 AM to 12:30 PM public service and issues of tokens will be available. Office staff will be performing their duties between 8:30 am and 4:30 pm. A daily prayer break has also been scheduled from 1:00 PM – 1:30 PM during Ramzan.

Authorities explained that these timings for Ramzan would not be applicable to RPO G-10/4 Islamabad, RPO Garden Town Lahore, RPO Awami Markaz Karachi and NADRA Mega Centres as they will continue to operate on the existing timings.

Revised Passport Fees

The government has also revised the fee of passports for different categories and validity.

For 36-page passport, the fee for a normal application valid for five years is Rs4,500 term and 10 years sign up will cost Rs6,700. Urgent applications are charged Rs7500 for five years and Rs11200 for 10 years.

For 72-page passport, the usual rate of fees is Rs8,200 and Rs12,400 for 5, 10 years respectively. The urgent processing charges are Rs13,500 for five years and Rs20,000 for 10 years.

Meanwhile, the ordinary category 100-page passport will cost Rs9,000 in case of 5 years and Rs13,500 in case of 10 years. For urgent issuance the fee is fixed at Rs18,000 for five years and Rs27,000 for 10 years.
