Advisor to Prime Minister on Political and Public Affairs Senator Rana Sanaullah urged five political leaders to be on the same page, saying that it could help to enhance the country’s political and economic situation.
Rana Sanaullah said while speaking to the private media channel that 2025 was a year of improvement, and he expressed hope for a better Pakistan in 2026.
He also criticised Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) for running a social media campaign against state institutions and Pakistan’s armed forces.
He further stated that the PTI will get nothing but a loss by protesting on February 8. Rana Sanaullah remarked that PTI has no capacity to paralyse the country.
He emphasised that the country’s five leaders should be on the same page, as it would help the country to move in a positive direction. “If these leaders engage in dialogue, the situation can move in a positive direction,” he said.
Rana Sanaullah mentioned the names of President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, former PM Nawaz Sharif, PTI founder Imran Khan and one other significant personality. He didn’t mention the name of that prominent personality.

Adviser to the Prime Minister on Political and Public Affairs, Rana Sanaullah, has said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan will not be shifted to another jail.
Sanaullah said there are no objections if the PTI members limited themselves to meetings only, adding that Imran Khan had long called others thieves and dacoits, and had now come under scrutiny himself.
Earlier, Sanaullah said that he might consider shifting Imran Khan to another prison if the protests outside Adiala Jail continue to disrupt public life and become a regular occurrence.
