A female student of the Barani Agriculture University, Rawalpindi, has accused her classmate, Muhammad Faizan, of sexual assault and blackmail.
Following her complaint, Islamabad Police registered a case at the Shams Colony police station and began an investigation.
According to the police, the student stated that the accused allegedly lured her by pretending to be in love.
Afterwards, he called her to his flat in Shams Colony, Islamabad, as per the complaint. She said that he sexually assaulted her there.
In her complaint, she also stated that the accused secretly recorded the videos and pictures using hidden cameras.
The victim further told police that after the incident, the accused threatened to make the videos and images viral on social media.
The accused also blackmailed her by taking objectionable photos and videos, as per the complaint.
She said he used these threats to blackmail her and forced her to come whenever he called.
Police said that Muhammad Faizan, son of Zubair Ali, has been named in the case.
Sources further added that a detailed investigation is underway. Additionally, evidence is being collected, and legal action will be taken in accordance with the law.

This is not the first time a social media influencer has faced such claims. Other celebrities have had similar incidents. Many influencers say these videos are fake or made with AI.
The increase in frequency of such incidents just highlights how dangerous improper use of AI can be. Users are advised to be very careful with its use.
