Web desk: The mystery surrounding the resignation of the outgoing Chief Minister, Ali Amin Gandapur, has deepened amid conflicting reports.

While the PTI leadership claims that he has already submitted his resignation, the Governor’s House maintains that it has not yet received it, raising questions about the whereabouts and status of the document.

Therefore, there is growing speculation over the resignation of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur.

KP Governor Says Gandapur’s Resignation Not Yet Received

Reports of the Governor’s House receiving the resignation are fake news. Governor Kundi said that he has not yet received the resignation of outgoing KP CM Ali Amin Gandapur.

Previously too, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Governor Faisal Karim Kundi stated that his office has not yet received Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur’s resignation.

Speaking to a private media outlet before, the governor added that if any constitutional or legal issues are found in the resignation, his office can return it.

Governor Faisal Karim Kundi left for Islamabad for scheduled meetings, according to the same sources.

PTI Claims Gandapur’s Resignation Sent

However, Sheikh Waqas Akram, the Central Information Secretary of PTI, stated that Ali Amin Gandapur’s resignation was sent after coordination with the MS of the Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

‘The resignation of the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has been received by the Governor’s House,’ Sheikh Waqas Akram said.

The staff at the Governor’s House received the resignation at 11:45 pm last night, according to the Central Information Secretary of PTI.

Gandapur Sends Resignation to Governor

Considering the claims yesterday, Ali Amin Gandapur has already sent his resignation. He also announced this in one of his social media posts, on X, formerly Twitter, in a significant public declaration.

He stated, “In respectful compliance with the orders of my leader, and Founding Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, Imran Khan, it is my honour to tender my resignation from the Office of the Chief Minister, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.”

Ali Amin Gandapur had announced his resignation from the post last night.

He further added, “I may not be able to claim with certainty that I did well on all those challenges, but one thing that I can say with utmost certainty is that I served with absolute sincerity to the people of KP and always acted in the best interest of Pakistan.”

The issue of Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur’s resignation remains pending, as his resignation has not yet been received, sources from the Governor’s House confirmed.
