The National Savings Centre, Lahore will be holding the first Rs1,500 Prize Bond draw of 2026 on February 16, giving citizens of the country across all provinces an opportunity to win big cash prizes. The draw is on the regular prize bond schedule and is expected to attract thousands of people.

Who Can Purchase Prize Bonds?

All citizens of Pakistan are eligible to buy Rs1500 prize bonds. Bonds are available in State Bank of Pakistan Banking Services Corporation (SBP-BSC) offices, authorised commercial bank branches and National Savings Centres all over country.

In order to purchase the prize bond, the applicants will have to submit the prescribed application form along with a copy of their valid Computerised National Identity Card (CNIC). The process is simple and designed to ensure transparency and proper record keeping.

Prize Structure Details

Based on the announced prize structure, there are a variety of winning drawing opportunities:

  • First Prize: Rs3 Million (1 Winner)
  • Second Prize: Rs1 million per person (3 winners)
  • Third Prize: Rs18,500 each (1,696 winners)

The high number of third prizes increases the odds of participants winning smaller cash prizes, whereas the top prizes yield large stocks.

How to Claim Prize Money?

Winners can claim their prize money from any SBP-BSC field office, designated commercial bank branch, or National Savings Centre. Claimants must complete the official claim form and provide the necessary identification documents to receive their winnings.

Tax Deduction Policy

Prize money is subject to taxation based on the winner’s filer status under the amended tax policy. Registered tax filers will be charged a 15 percent tax on their winnings, while non-filers will face a 30 percent deduction.

This policy encourages tax compliance by offering lower deductions to registered filers.

The Rs1,500 Prize Bond draw will take place in Lahore on February 16, 2026.
