S26 Ultra could be Samsung’s priciest phone in Pakistan

Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra price in Pakistan

Samsung’s next flagship is almost ready to step into the spotlight, and in Pakistan, the wait is starting to feel personal. The Galaxy S26 series is nearing launch, and for local buyers who closely follow Samsung’s annual cycle, the excitement is mixed with a familiar concern: price.

Early signals suggest the Galaxy S26 Ultra will arrive in Pakistan at a higher price than the Galaxy S25 Ultra. Multiple reports indicate the starting price could sit around Rs580,000, and it may climb even higher once taxes and market adjustments come into play. That places the S26 Ultra firmly in luxury territory, even by flagship standards.

Globally, Samsung is preparing three phones for this cycle: the Galaxy S26, S26+, and the Galaxy S26 Ultra. What stands out this year is the timing. For the last few generations, Samsung stuck to a mid or late January Galaxy Unpacked event. This time, the schedule has shifted.

The change appears to stem from a rethink inside Samsung. Earlier expectations included a Galaxy S26 Edge and a new Pro model. Weak sales of the Galaxy S25 Edge, paired with Apple’s success in holding the base iPhone at the same price, seem to have pushed Samsung back to its familiar lineup.

That adjustment reportedly slowed manufacturing and moved the launch to late February.

According to trusted leakers Evan Blass and Ice Universe, Galaxy Unpacked will take place on February 25 in San Francisco. If Samsung follows its usual pattern, invitations should be sent out around mid February, with the keynote streamed worldwide.

The timing is deliberate. Mobile World Congress begins in Barcelona on March 2, just days after Unpacked. Samsung has used this overlap before to dominate headlines, and it is likely aiming for the same effect again.

Pre orders are expected to open as soon as the event ends. Samsung typically sweetens the deal with trade in bonuses and upgrade offers. However, the popular double storage promotion could be dropped this year as memory costs continue to rise.

Reviews should begin appearing about a week after launch, potentially overlapping with Mobile World Congress coverage. That could either split attention or push the Galaxy S26 Ultra even further into the spotlight.

European retail leaks point to March 11, 2026 as the release date. Samsung usually treats Europe, North America, and South Korea as day one markets, which suggests a global rollout on the same day. Pakistan typically follows soon after.

There is also a Galaxy S26 FE planned for later in the year, but that device will arrive well after the flagship models.

For now, the Galaxy S26 Ultra is shaping up to be powerful, polished, and expensive. In Pakistan, the question is not about interest. It is about how many buyers are willing to pay the price.
