Samsung Galaxy A07 5G

Samsung has officially announced the launch of the Galaxy A07 5G, the latest addition to its Galaxy A series. The new phone focuses on longer battery life, smoother performance, and wider access to everyday AI tools. The company continues to expand features once limited to higher-end models.

The Galaxy A07 5G is positioned as a device for users who want reliable performance for daily tasks such as watching videos, gaming, browsing, and social media use.

Longer battery life and a larger screen

One of the main upgrades is a 6,000mAh battery, the largest seen so far in Samsung’s A series. The company says this allows users to stream films, watch TV shows, or browse online for longer periods without frequent charging.

The phone features a 6.7-inch edge-to-edge display with a 120Hz refresh rate, designed to make scrolling and on-screen movement appear smoother. Samsung says the screen can reach up to 800 nits of brightness, helping content remain visible outdoors.

Cameras and durability upgrades

The Galaxy A07 5G includes a dual rear camera setup, led by a 50-megapixel (MP) main camera and a 2-megapixel (MP) depth sensor. This combination is intended to capture clearer photos and create background blur for portraits. An 8-megapixel (MP) front camera is included for selfies and video calls.

For added durability, the phone comes with IP54 dust and water resistance, offering protection against light splashes. The back panel uses a reinforced material designed to improve resistance to scratches, while the device remains relatively slim at 8.2mm thick.

AI features and long-term support

Samsung has also added core AI features, including Google Gemini and Circle to search. Users can activate Gemini using the side key for help with tasks across apps. While Circle to search allows users to look up information directly from their screen.

The Galaxy A07 5G will receive six years of Android updates and security support. It launches with One UI 8.0 and includes Samsung Knox Vault. The system is designed to protect sensitive data using dedicated security hardware.
