Samsung’s next budget 5G phone has quietly appeared online, giving an early look at what users can expect. A new Samsung Galaxy A07 5G Geekbench listing has surfaced, confirming key performance details ahead of any official announcement.
While Samsung has already launched the Galaxy A07 in a 4G variant, this new entry signals a meaningful upgrade under the hood.
Geekbench Galaxy A07 5G scores hint at modest gains
According to the Geekbench database, the Galaxy A07 5G delivers a single core score of 729, while its multi-core performance averages 1,878 points. These numbers place the phone slightly ahead of the LTE version, which runs on the Helio G99 chipset. The gains are not dramatic, but they reflect the benefits of a newer platform designed with 5G connectivity in mind.
The benchmark results suggest performance suitable for everyday tasks such as browsing, social media use and light multitasking. This aligns with Samsung’s usual approach in the entry-level segment, where stability and efficiency matter more than raw power.
Dimensity 6300 powers the 5G model
Although Geekbench does not name the processor directly, the listed CPU configuration makes the chipset easy to identify. The Galaxy A07 5G appears to use the MediaTek Dimensity 6300, built on a 6nm process. The layout includes two performance cores clocked at 2.4GHz and six efficiency cores running at 2.0GHz.
