Samsung has reduced the price of its Galaxy A56 5G to the lowest level seen since the phone launched in Pakistan, a move that appears to signal a clear-out of existing stock ahead of its successor.
According to Samsung Pakistan’s official website, the Galaxy A56 5G is now listed at Rs122,000. That marks a notable cut of Rs28,000 from its earlier price of Rs150,000, making it a more tempting mobile for buyers who were waiting for a cut.
The timing of the reduction is hard to ignore. In recent weeks, leaks and early reports about the upcoming Galaxy A57 have started circulating online. The price cut suggests Samsung may be preparing to make room for the new model by easing out the A56 from its current lineup.
However, the situation is not entirely straightforward. While Samsung has lowered the official price, the phone is still selling for more in parts of the local smartphone market. This gap between official and local market prices has become a familiar issue, leaving buyers unsure where the real value lies.
Another point to note is that the reduction applies only to one variant. The 8GB RAM with 256GB storage model of Galaxy A56 is now cheaper, while the higher 12GB RAM and 256GB storage version remains unchanged at Rs151,000.
This selective pricing has added to the confusion, especially as Samsung has frequently adjusted prices on its website in recent months, sometimes raising and lowering them within short periods.
For now, the Galaxy A56 5G is at its lowest official price ever in Pakistan, at least on Samsung’s own platform. Whether this is the final cut before the Galaxy A57 arrives remains uncertain, as Samsung has shown it can revise prices at any time.
Interestingly, the Galaxy A36 is currently listed at Rs120,000 on Samsung’s website, leaving just a Rs1,000 difference between the two models. That narrow gap could make decision-making harder for buyers comparing features and value.
Lowest price of Galaxy A56 on Priceoye.pk
Those looking for even bigger savings may find better deals outside Samsung’s store. Online retailer Priceoye.pk is offering the Galaxy A56 5G for as low as Rs115,500 for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant.
The Galaxy A56’s 12GB RAM version is also cheaper there, listed at around Rs127,000, well below both market rates and Samsung’s official pricing.
