The vanilla Samsung Galaxy S23 now has a customs value of $140 (Rs. 36,397). PTA taxes for this model are Rs. 19,217 on CNIC and Rs. 17,236 on a passport. After adding estimated profit margins, the final retail price comes to about Rs. 55,000.
For the Samsung Galaxy S23+, the customs value is $160 (Rs. 44,796). PTA taxes on this model are Rs. 20,225 on CNIC and Rs. 18,244 on a passport, making the final retail price roughly Rs. 65,000.
Finally, the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra has a customs value of $255 (Rs. 71,393). PTA taxes for this model are Rs. 29,313 on CNIC and Rs. 26,852 on a passport. With the new rates, the final retail price of a PTA-approved S23 Ultra is estimated at around Rs. 100,000.
These changes make the Samsung Galaxy S23 series more affordable for Pakistani buyers while ensuring compliance with PTA rules.
