Applications for the fully funded internship at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) Visiting Student Research Program (VSRP) 2026 in Saudi Arabia have opened.
The 3 to 6-month research internship is designed for STEM students who want hands-on experience at one of the world’s most advanced research universities. Admissions have been opened for the 2026 Visiting Student Research Program (VSRP).
This program offers a fully funded international internship for bachelor’s and master’s students from around the world. Candidates who are chosen will get full financial and logistical support, which will cover almost all major costs.

Eligibility criteria and required documents
In order to be eligible for the program, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- PhD candidates, current KAUST students, and KAUST alumni are not eligible
- Applicants must be undergraduates (3rd year or higher) or master’s students
- Have a minimum GPA of 3.5 out of 4
- Strong spoken and written English proficiency (IELTS/TOEFL is not required)
- Open to students of all nationalities, including those from Pakistan.
Applications are accepted year-round, so students can apply whenever it best fits their academic schedule. Applicants must submit the following documents via the online portal: a valid passport, a letter of recommendation, an updated CV or resume, and an official academic transcript in either Arabic or English.
