Security forces killed three terrorists during an engagement in the Para Bejar/Pattak area of Balochistan, according to intelligence sources.
The sources said intelligence information indicated the presence of six to eight terrorists in Para Bejar, located about five kilometres south of Pattak and 27 kilometres southwest of the Basima Camp. Security forces already deployed in the Pattak area immediately moved towards the reported location after receiving the information, resulting in an engagement with the militants.
Three terrorists were killed during the exchange of fire, while their bodies were recovered from the site. The deceased were identified as Najam Uddin, son of Ali Hassan, a resident of Shirenza; Adnan, son of Jalauddin, a resident of Noshki; and one unidentified terrorist. According to the sources, arms and ammunition were also recovered from the slain terrorists.
