Security forces neutralise 13 Khwarij in separate KP engagements

As many as thirteen Khwarij, affiliated with the Indian proxy group Fitna Al Khwarij, were killed in two separate engagements in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Province between January 13 and 14.

According to an ISPR press release, an intelligence-based operation was conducted by security forces in Bannu District. During the operation, own troops effectively engaged a Khwarij location, and after an intense exchange of fire, eight Khwarij were killed.

The release further stated that another intelligence-based operation was conducted by security forces in Kurram District. In the ensuing firefight, five Khwarij were effectively neutralised. Sanitisation operations were conducted to eliminate any other Indian sponsored kharji found in the area as a relentless Counter Terrorism campaign under vision “Azm e Istehkam” (as approved by Federal Apex Committee on the National Action Plan) by Security Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies of Pakistan will continue at full pace to wipe outmenace of foreign-sponsored and supported terrorism from the country.
