Security Forces shoot down two drones using modern techniques: Attaullah Tarar

Information Minister Attaullah Tarar said that Pakistan’s security forces shot down two drones using modern techniques.

“Security forces shot down the drones of Fitna al Khawarij using modern techniques. The Taliban regime’s claims are baseless, and only minor damage was caused by the falling debris,” he reiterated.

In a press statement, he said that the terrorist organisation is sponsored by the Afghan Taliban government. Security forces shot down the drone using electronic countermeasures. No military or other infrastructure was targeted, and the drone was intercepted with only minor damage caused by debris, he stated.

The Ministry of Information added that, as usual, there is no verifiable evidence to support the claims made by the Afghan Taliban regime. The Afghan Taliban regime is providing shelter and support to several terrorist organisations, including the Indian backed Fitna al Khawarij and Fitna al-Hindustan.

The ministry also said that the Afghan Ministry of Defence and other accounts associated with the Afghan regime are notorious for spreading false news and propaganda. In the past, these accounts had also made baseless claims that they had shot down a Pakistani aircraft.

The Afghan regime’s accounts also falsely claimed that pilots had been arrested. According to the Ministry of Information, these Taliban regime accounts later deleted their claims in embarrassment, proving once again that the truth always prevails over lies.

Earlier, Information Minister Attaullah Tarar shared a fresh update on the ongoing military Operation Ghazb lil Haq, confirming significant losses inflicted on the Fitna Al Khawarij, Afghan Taliban.

In a message posted on X, Tarar said that 663 Afghan Taliban operatives have been killed, while more than 887 others have been injured since the start of the operation.

He further stated that 249 Afghan check posts have been destroyed, while Pakistani forces captured 44 posts during the operation.

According to the minister, 224 tanks, armoured vehicles and artillery guns belonging to the Afghan Taliban have also been destroyed.
