Severe heat expected in Islamabad today

Islamabad weather forecast for today suggests a severe heatwave with high temperatures during the afternoon.

Today in Islamabad, it will be sunny and hot, with a high of 37°C and a low of 29°C.

Current conditions show clear skies at 29°C, a low humidity of 37%, and a light breeze from the northeast at 3 mph.

According to the weather forecast, the heat will increase in the afternoon today in Islamabad, hitting peak temperatures with a very high UV index of 11, so it’s strongly advised to find shade and drink plenty of water if you’re outside.

The dry and sunny weather will persist tomorrow, Tuesday, June 9, with temperatures rising slightly to a high of 38°C.

Intense heatwave across Punjab

Earlier, a dry and intense heatwave-like weather began across Punjab, with forecasts predicting that the heat will further intensify in the coming days.

In the provincial capital, Lahore, the sun began showing its intensity early in the morning, with the temperature recorded at 33°C during the early hours.

The city’s minimum temperature is expected to remain around 27°C, while the maximum may rise up to 41°C.

Meteorologists say that not only daytime but nighttime temperatures are also increasing.

According to the forecast, temperatures are likely to range between 41°C and 44°C in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum, and Gujrat from June 8 to 10.
