Shah Mahmood Qureshi

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader and former Foreign Minister, Shah Mahmood Qureshi, said that “I am sad about Imran Khan’s health, but can’t do anything except pray.” He gave remarks while speaking to the media during his hearing in the Anti-terrorism court.

Shah Mahmood Qureshi also said that prisoners also have their rights, adding that giving rights to prisoners is a responsibility of jail authorities.

He told the media that he heard about Imran Khan’s eye and he can only pray for him.

Shah Mahmood Qureshi also said that the tears in Aleema Khan’s eyes also made me sad. The PTI leader said that if something happens to Imran Khan, jail authorities and the government would be responsible for this.

Shah Mahmood Qureshi further said that the PTI leader, Mian Mahmood-ul-Rasheed, had to be taken to the hospital for a medical check-up, but the jail administration refused, citing a lack of security. He added that Dr Yasmin Rashid also could not receive treatment due to security concerns. Qureshi blamed the Punjab government for the entire matter.

Cameras in Imran Khan’s jail cell?

On the other hand, the PTI leader and Senator, Mashal Yousafzai, said Imran Khan demanded a few books and a space to exercise in jail. Mashal Yousafzai also added that Imran Khan is not demanding anything luxurious.

The PTI leader also revealed that there are cameras installed in Imran Khan’s jail cell. However, there are no official reports related to the cameras in Imran Khan’s jail cell.

It is pertinent to mention here that Imran Khan’s sister Aleema Khan earlier said that Mashal Yousafzai and Sher Afzal Marwat are not sincere with Khan. Aleema Khan also added that Mashal Yousafzai always create controversy around Imran Khan.
