Pakistan premier fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi is set to make his appearance in the upcoming Lanka Premier League (LPL) after signing a contract with the Candy Royals.
According to sources, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is expected to issue a No Objection Certificate (NOC) to the left-arm pacer soon, allowing him to participate in the overseas franchise league.
Following PCB approval, Shaheen will travel to Sri Lanka and join the Candy Royals squad. His inclusion is expected to strengthen the team’s bowling attack. The left-arm pacer is regarded as one of the most dangerous bowlers in world cricket due to his pace, swing, and ability to take early wickets.
The new season of the Lanka Premier League will begin in Sri Lanka on July 17, featuring several international cricket stars.
