Web desk: The Pakistan–Indonesia Joint Military Exercise Shaheen Strike-II has concluded, according to an official statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
The exercise was held from 8 to 19 November 2025. It focused on counter-terrorism operations.
Combat teams from the Pakistan Army and the Indonesian Army took part in the exercise.
All training objectives were successfully met, and the exercise concluded formally on 18 November 2025.
The closing ceremony was attended by a senior Pakistani General as the Chief Guest, while top Indonesian military officials were present to represent their country.
During the exercise, troops from both nations demonstrated high levels of professionalism and operational skill. The training focused on refining counter-terrorism drills, including operations in urban areas and countering improvised explosive devices (IEDs).
Officials said Shaheen Strike-II further strengthened the longstanding military-to-military cooperation between Pakistan and Indonesia.
Pakistan, Saudi Arabia Review Defence Cooperation
Previously, Lieutenant General Syed Aamer Raza, Chief of General Staff (CGS) of the Pakistan Army, met with General Fayyadh Bin Hameed Al-Rowaily, Chief of General Staff of the Royal Saudi Armed Forces, in Riyadh, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) stated.
The two leaders discussed matters of mutual strategic interest, including strengthening bilateral defence cooperation, enhancing interoperability, and advancing collaboration under the Strategic Mutual Defence Agreement (SMDA).
Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to deepening the long-standing fraternal ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, aimed at promoting regional peace, stability, and self-reliance.
A Special Meeting of the Pakistan-KSA Bilateral Defence Industrial Forum was also held.
The Pakistani delegation, led by Lieutenant General Raza, and the Saudi delegation, headed by H.E. Khalid Al Biyari, Assistant Minister of Defence for Executive Affairs, reviewed ongoing defence cooperation projects and explored opportunities for joint ventures in emerging technologies, in line with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030.
Lieutenant General Raza reiterated Pakistan’s support for building the capacity of the Royal Saudi Armed Forces. The Saudi leadership acknowledged Pakistan’s contributions and sacrifices in counter-terrorism, as well as its role in promoting regional peace and stability.
