Azaad Digital has rejected Shahid Khan Khattak’s allegations, saying that people often take offence when the truth is spoken and shown. Adding that his claims are baseless.

Azaad Digital said it is an independent and impartial digital journalism platform that represents all sections of society, including political and social leaders.

The digital media platform alleges that it presents its views to the public in a neutral and factual manner.

On Thursday, during a question from an Azaad Digital reporter, Shahid Khan Khattak responded strongly.

He said that Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf does not need any single media platform to share its views.

The reporter replied that PTI is given as much coverage as any other outlet.

However, Khattak said the party now has its own YouTubers. And digital platforms to directly communicate its narrative to the public.

He accused Azaad Digital of running negative coverage against PTI throughout the day.

He proceeded to call it a “black channel” and announced that PTI is boycotting the platform.

He said that engaging with what he described as biased media is a waste of time. And claimed that no PTI leader will give interviews or statements to Azaad Digital in the future.

According to Khattak, the party leadership has decided that PTI’s position will now only be shared through its own official media and digital platforms.
