Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif telephoned Saudi Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman to hold key talks amid ongoing tensions in the region. PM Shehbaz expressed solidarity with the Saudi Crown Prince due to recent attacks on Saudia by Iran. PM Shehbaz condemned Iran’s attacks on Saudi Arabia.

On the other hand, Muhammad Bin Salman also praised Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts to end the war in the region. Both leaders discussed the ongoing tensions in the Middle East.
Shehbaz Sharif also said during the phone call that the government of Pakistan and the people of Pakistan are standing with Saudia shoulder to shoulder. PM Shehbaz also said that Pakistan will always support Saudi Arabia.
The Prime Minister praised the Saudi leadership for showing wisdom and restraint during the ongoing crisis. He said Pakistan is working hard with other countries to support peace efforts.
He also sent his warm wishes and respectful regards to Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.

PM Shehbaz also wrote in a post on X, “Spoke with my dear brother, HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Crown Prince & Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and conveyed Pakistan’s unwavering solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Condemned today’s attack on the Al Jubeil oil facility.
We stand shoulder to shoulder with our Saudi brothers and sisters. Appreciated the Kingdom’s restraint under the wise and sagacious leadership of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to advancing peace efforts for de-escalation in the region.”
