Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has launched the Sindh Job Portal (SJP) to make government recruitment transparent, efficient, and technology driven.
Inspired by Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto’s slogan “Benazir Aaie Hae – Rozgar Laie Hae”, the portal is designed to connect qualified youth with government jobs in Sindh through a single online platform.
Sindh Job Portal is jointly developed by Sindh Information and Science Department and Institute of Business Administration, Sukkur.
A major leap towards the promise of E governance and providing equitable chance of employment across province.
Furthermore, candidates will sit standardised tests with instant results.
Moreover, if someone fails, they can retake the test multiple times; the first attempt is fully funded by the Sindh government.
According to the CM, around 326,000 candidates have already passed, and tests will be held every month to keep opportunities open year round.
How the Sindh Job Portal works (simple steps)?
- Create a profile & upload documents: Matric/academic certificates, CNIC, and domicile are uploaded to the IB portal, building a secure database of qualified applicants.
- Take the test: Sit for the standardized assessment, results appear immediately.
- Apply for jobs: Once you pass, you can apply to vacancies posted by departments on SJP.
- Live vacancy updates: Each department uploads requirements (e.g., “100 junior clerks”), and the Finance Department reviews funding in real time to speed up approvals.
Meanwhile, the CM said SJP directly links the Sindh government with job seeking youth, reducing roadside discretion and improving fairness.
By centralizing testing, documents, and vacancies, the Sindh Job Portal aims to cut delays, curb misuse, and ensure merit based recruitment.
Employment seeking aspirants should start creating their SJP profile, upload documents, sit the monthly test (first attempt free), and start applying as new positions go live.
