Singer Ali Zafar apologises to nation Eid dress

The well-known singer and actor, Ali Zafar, has apologised to the nation and said that he will not make this mistake again. Ali Zafar faced criticism online after sharing his Eid pictures.

In the picture shared by singer Ali Zafar, it can be seen that he is wearing a green kurta, but his body is not visible in the kurta as he is not wearing a Banyan.

Several social media users criticised Ali Zafar over his dress choice on this Eid occasion. Several people on social media said that Ali Zafar’s Eid dress was vulgar. After the criticism by the masses, the well-known singer Ali Zafar publicly apologised to the nation in a post on X.

Ali Zafar’s apology to the nation

Singer Ali Zafar wrote in the post on X, “I would like to apologise to the nation for wearing a see-through kurta without a banyan, and for the very serious act of watering plants in a traditional Ajrak dhoti on Eid. I understand this has been one of the most pressing national and global issues affecting everyone’s lives lately, and I will do my best never to repeat this grave mistake again. Thank you for your attention to this matter.”

Singer Ali Zafar confirmed that he will be careful next time while choosing his Eid attire.

Misha Shafi, Ali Zafar case

Earlier, the well-known Pakistani singer Misha Shafi cancelled Ali Zafar and alleged that Ali Zafar harassed her multiple times. At the same time, Ali Zafar’s former friend and activist Leena Ghani was also confirmed in a podcast that Ali Zafar has verbally harassed her several times and made dirty jokes against her.

However, the case against Ali Zafar filed by Misha Shafi is not fully dismissed.
