Noreen Khan injured in a fall

Noreen Khan, sister of founder Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaaf (PTI) Imran Khan, has sustained injuries when she fell into a under construction drainage near the Adiala Road in Rawalpindi on Tuesday.

As per reports, Noreen Khan fell into a dug up drainage while she was crossing over to enter a building to offer prayers. She received injuries to her hand, feet and nose.

She was helped out from the drainage by people accompanying her. Another woman was also injured alongside Noreen Khan, while trying to help her out

Noreen Khan along with her sister Aleema Khan and a group of people had arrived near Adiala jail in a bid to meet their incarcerated brother Imran Khan.

Registration of Case

Imran Khan’s sister, Uzma Khan, has submitted a request for the registration of a case against former Adiala Jail Superintendent Abdul Ghafoor Anjum. The request has been received by the Saddar Berooni Police Station. The petition accuses the former jail superintendent of human rights violations and of failing to provide timely medical treatment to Imran Khan.

Imran Khan brought to PIMS for follow-up eye treatment

Former prime minister Imran Ahmed Khan Niazi was brought from Central Jail Adyala to Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) for a scheduled follow-up eye treatment, according to an official medical update.

The 74-year-old underwent his second dose of an anti-VEGF intravitreal injection, a procedure commonly used to treat certain retinal conditions that affect vision.
