Famous TikTok influencer from Turkey, Kubra Karaaslan passed away on March 23 at the age of 21 by falling off a bridge.
Kubra Karaaslan, who had garnered a significant following on social media for her lifestyle content, reportedly leaped from the Osman Gazi Bridge, a suspension bridge located near Gebze, Turkey, as reported by local news outlets NTV and Daily Sabah.
Bystanders are said to have captured footage of the incident, which subsequently circulated on social media.
As per reports, local authorities quickly arrived at the scene, and the internet personality’s body was taken to a nearby state hospital, where she was later declared dead.
The news outlet described her death as a suicide. Additionally, it was reported that Karaaslan had deactivated her social media accounts, including her TikTok, before her death.
In the now widely circulated video, drivers and pedestrians can be seen stopping their vehicles in an attempt to save her from jumping off the bridge.
Concerned bystanders made considerable efforts to persuade the young influencer to stop her dangerous act for an extended period.
However, she seemingly remained unconvinced and jumped from a height of several meters, plunging into the water below.
