Chief Minister (CM) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Sohail Afridi announced the registration for Rehayi Tehreek (Release movement for Imran Khan).

According to the details, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) started registering individuals who want to be a part of Rehayi Tehreek for Imran Khan.

CM KP Sohail Afridi said while speaking at the ceremony in Peshawar that he used all the constitutional and legal platforms to get permission for a meeting with PTI founder Imran Khan.

He further said, while showing frustration that he is an elected chief minister and represents 45 million people, but is not being allowed to meet his party leader.

CM KP criticises the authorities

CM KP Sohail Afridi also criticised authorities for blocking his passport, as he said he can’t even travel on official routes. CM KP also said that jail authorities don’t even open the doors of Adiala jail for him.

CM KP Sohail Afridi said that he will continue the peaceful protest and legal struggle. He stressed that the issue is Imran Khan’s health, not elections or constituencies.

Sohail Afridi also urged the youth to register for Rehayi Tehreek.

Authorities will register members of the Rehayi Tehreek through a nationwide membership drive and oath-taking ceremonies. Afridi urged the youth to stay alert and said the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa establishment department has been dissolved.

Earlier, the District and Sessions Courts, Islamabad, issued a non-bailable arrest warrant against KP Chief Minister Sohail Afridi for his failure to appear in a case concerning misleading allegations against state institutions and defamation.
