SSGC announces Ramzan 2026 gas schedule for Sindh, Balochistan

Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) has issued a new schedule on Tuesday for gas supply to consumers in Sindh and Balochistan during the month of Ramzan.

According to sources, an uninterrupted gas supply will be ensured during Sehri and Iftar times so that consumers do not face any kind of problem.

According to the provided information, gas supply will be restored from 00:03 AM to 10:30 PM.

Company officials say that under special arrangements, gas supply will continue continuously from Sehri to Iftar during Ramzan 2026.

According to the details, the purpose of this schedule is to provide maximum convenience to domestic consumers and facilitate their worship and daily routines during the holy month.

Was SSGC gas schedule for Ramzan 2026 fake?

Prior to this,  Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) clarified that an old social media post about Ramzan 2026 gas timings in Karachi that was circulating online is misleading.

SSGC said the post being shared is from last year and is no longer valid. The updated gas schedule for Ramzan 1447 Hijri will be shared this week, before the first day of fasting.

Karachi residents have also been advised to check official SSGC channels for any updates during Ramzan 2026.

Ramzan 2026 in Pakistan is expected to start on Thursday, February 19. However, the exact date will depend on the moon sighting by the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee.

PMD forecasts weather for Ramzan 2026

The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecasted that the weather in most parts of Pakistan is expected to be hot and dry during the early days of Ramzan 2026.

Officials say there is little to no chance of rainfall during the first 10 days of the holy month.

Daytime conditions are likely to remain dry across much of the country, with temperatures gradually rising.
