Strange Smell causes evacuation at Davos during event involving Donald Trump

Davos, Switzerland– People were evacuated from the main hall at the World Economic Forum after a weird smell made several participants uncomfortable, and they started coughing. According to the media reports, the smell came from a small fire in a nearby cabin, but the exact cause is still not clear.

The US President Donald Trump had left the venue after the smell spread. However, the White House stated that President Trump is safe and returned to the U.S on time.

Some officials at the event said that the evacuation caused some fear, but the organisers tackled the situation in a better way. After a few minutes, the management confirmed that the hall is safe. The security teams and police monitored the situation closely.

Many on social media talked about the incident, especially because Donald Trump was in Davos during the evacuation. Authorities asked people not to share rumours or unverified reports.

The well-known American journalist Nick Sortor wrote on X, “People are being EVACUATED from the main venue at the World Economic Forum, after a strange odour began causing people to cough. It’s unclear what is in the air. President Trump just needs to get back to the U.S. ASAP Europe is unsafe.”

He further updated, “The source of the odour making people cough is said to be a ‘small fire’ in a nearby cabin. President Trump had already left the venue, per the White House. Not sure I 100% believe the official narrative from Davos, but the venue has now re-opened.”
