WEBDESK: Volume 2 for Stranger Things season 5 has been released. The creators, cast, and fans are now gearing up for the finale episode. The finale is stated to be 2 hours long and will be released on New Year’s.
Only six days remain until the finale is released. The creators, Ross and Matt Duffer, have started teasing the last episode. According to them, the last episode will have higher emotional stakes than all the episodes released yet.
Ross Duffer said in an interview with Entertainment Weekly, “It’s Stranger Things. We gotta go out in a big way.”
The upcoming episode name is “The Right-side Up”. They have clarified that this will not be their longest episode; it’s not as long as the season 4 finale. However, it’s going to be the largest episode yet. The creators said, “It’s very large in scale, but I think it’s more character-focused than any of the other episodes in the season. With the 2-hour runtime, you’re able to do both.”
The 7th episode, The Bridge set up the climactic events to come.
Stranger Things started in 2016 and became a worldwide phenomenon instantly. It has been almost 10 years since the release of the first season.
The fans have grown up with the characters. The show holds immense value for them. It was released over 35+ episodes in almost 10 years.
The show has also been criticised by fans for taking long breaks. Season 3 was released in 2019, while season 4 was released in 2022, and season 5 is being released in 2025.
The series is so immensely popular that every season breaks a viewership record. Season 5 has also broken previous Netflix viewership records.
Fans are hopeful that all the answers will be given in the last episode and the series will have a satisfying conclusion.
