Wana: Teachers and students of Cadet College Wana showed their courage and determination despite the recent attack by the Afghan Khawarij.
The cadets, while describing what they saw, said that the aim of the attack was to target their education, but they were not afraid and succeeded with the help of the Pakistan Army.
A cadet said that a suicide blast took place during a drill, but the college staff and the soldiers of the Pakistan Army came face to face with the Khawarij.
The cadets said that this attempt by the Khawarij would fail as always and they themselves were safe due to the timely action of the army.
The cadets further said that they saw two Khawarij on whom the soldiers of the Pakistan Army were firing and the army told them not to worry, “we have come”. The Khawarij were moving towards our building, but the army’s action blocked their path.
A cadet said that the Pakistan Army did not give the Khawarij a chance to fire and during the attack, the students kept shouting slogans of ‘Pakistan Army Zindabad’ and even picked up stones against the Khawarij.
The cadets said that the Khawarij thought that they would succeed by attacking, but they did not know that the Pakistan Army was present here.
